What is the function of gas regulator

The function of the gas regulator is to control the flow of gunpowder gas into the piston chamber. When the mechanism in the gun is not smooth due to dirt, it can play a role in troubleshooting. The gas regulator can also play a role when using bullets with different chamber pressures.

The pressure regulator is an accurate instrument. It is designed to reduce the output pressure of the gas cylinder to a safe range before it flows out, limit the pressure of the outgoing gas to a safe range, prevent any instrument or device from being damaged by overpressure, and stabilize the gas flow pressure. A good pressure regulator should have the following properties:
1. The input gas of the cylinder changes the pressure, and the output gas pressure of the regulator can maintain the normal pressure.
2. The pressure regulator does not change the pressure due to the change of gas output speed, and the deviation is very small, basically maintaining constant pressure.
3. When the operation is stopped, the final pressure in the system will not increase.
Operation method: Before connecting with the gas cylinder, check whether there are foreign matters at the inlet of the regulator and the outlet of the gas cylinder valve, and remove them with cloth if any. Tighten the connection between the cylinder outlet and the regulator inlet with flat pliers, but do not apply force on the thread. Some gas cylinders should be padded with a sealing pad between the inlet and outlet. When using the PTFE pad, do not use too much force, or the pad will be squeezed into the valve opening to prevent the gas from flowing out.
